📜 Letters from the "In-Between"
Volume One: The Room Between Rooms 🚪
Hi, Hello, Friends! 🤓
If I could describe mentally in my brain what the “In-Between” looks like…
I am standing in a large open space like an endless hall (imagine the aesthetic is cozy, vintage, and charming).
In the middle every several feet there is a vintage couch, each with its own unique vibe, just inviting me to sit and feel safe. (I spend a lot of time here.)
Each side along the walls are lined with doors, each one completely different from the next.
Some doors with painted mismatched colors.
Some doors carved with intricate patterns.
Some glossy and new.
Others faded and chipped away.
As I have been moving through this deep healing journey, I have learned you cannot force any of the doors to open and not every door is meant to open at once.
Some remain locked until I am ready.
Some doors swing open easily… leading me to rooms I absolutely did not know I was brave enough to walk into.
And some doors… I suspect they will stay closed forever… and I am learning that is okay.
This is my “In-Between”: a place of waiting, wandering, and so much learning… learning which doors are mine to open… and which doors are simply meant to be appreciated before moving to the next.
I am learning none of these steps are failures.
